Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) would like to inform the residents of Arctic Bay that there will be planned, intermittent power outages in the community on Saturday, December 11, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. The power outages are expected to affect the entire community for short periods of time over the two-hour duration.
The outage is required to safely connect the new power plant to the community’s existing distribution grid.
QEC thanks residents for their understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
