Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) would like to inform the city of Iqaluit that there will be a planned power outage on Sunday, August 9 from 6 to 10 a.m. local time. The affected area is highlighted in yellow on the map below.
This power outage is required to repair a power pole that was damaged during the winter.
QEC would like to thank the community for their understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
