Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) would like to inform the residents of Kugaaruk that there will be a planned power outage on Saturday, October 3, from 8 to 11 a.m. The affected area is highlighted in yellow on the map below.
This power outage is required to safely connect the community’s new fire hall.
