Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) would like to inform the residents of Baker Lake that there will be planned power outages on Saturday, August 5th and Sunday, August 6th, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon (local time).
The affected areas for each of the planned outages are highlighted in yellow on the maps below.
The outage on Saturday, August 5th is required to complete the pole relocation needed to accommodate new construction.
The outage on Sunday, August 6th is required to safely replace a broken pole.
QEC thanks residents for their understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
