Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) wants to inform Nunanvummiut that the corporation will return to regular overdue account practices. As of August 11, customers with overdue accounts may be subject to service disconnection or load limiting.
QEC continues to offer flexible payment options to residential and commercial customers who are unable to pay their monthly electricity bills in full. Customers who have already entered into a flexible payment arrangement with QEC’s Customer Care will not be affected by this change.
If you are struggling to pay your monthly electricity bill, please contact the corporation’s Customer Care division by calling 1-866-710-4200 or emailing CustomerCare@qec.nu.ca to arrange a flexible payment agreement.
The corporation recognizes that this is a challenging time for many Nunavummiut and is committed to providing support for customers on a case-by-case basis.
