Based out of Iqaluit, Nunavut and reporting to the Revenue Manager, this position is responsible for the administration of the Iqaluit Customer Service office. The position is accountable for scheduling and assigning tasks to support staff, addressing customer inquiries and complaints, receiving payments, making bank deposits, as well as the coding and data entry of invoices and meter tickets.

QEC-19-032 Manager, Production

Based out of Iqaluit, Nunavut and reporting to the Director, Operations, this position is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operation of twenty five (25) diesel-generating plants across Nunavut. This position will work closely with the Operations Supervisors across the territory to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency in each plant. This role contributes to the delivery of safe and reliable electricity to QEC customers, while continuously promoting industry best practices.

Planned Power Outage in Rankin Inlet

Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) would like to inform the community of Rankin Inlet that there will be a planned power outage in a section of the community on Sunday, May 26 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The affected area is highlighted in yellow on the map below.

This outage is required to perform upgrades and maintenance to the distribution system.

QEC would like to thank the residents for their understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Cape Dorset community members are invited to celebrate new power plant

Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) invites the community members of Cape Dorset to celebrate the new power plant on Friday, May 24, from 4 to 6 p.m.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and photo opportunity will take place at the new power plant at 4 p.m. A reception with refreshments and prizes will follow at Sam Pudlat School from 5 to 6 p.m.

Electrical Technologist - Operations

Based out of Iqaluit, Nunavut and reporting directly to the Manager, Operations and Maintenance this position will design, update, maintain, and repair control systems for all 25 diesel powered generation facilities across the territory and provide technical support to operations and plant staff on matters related to plant control systems.
