PLANT SUPERINTENDENT
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Plant Superintendent is responsible for maintaining safe and continuous power generation and distribution, integrating production and maintenance requirements of all mechanical and electrical equipment under his/her jurisdiction. The position is also responsible for operating and monitoring the diesel powerhouse and associated systems to provide safe, reliable electrical service to Qulliq Energy customers in the community in a cost effective manner.

Potential power outages during testing of a new generator set in Arviat
Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC) would like to inform the residents of Arviat that QEC will be testing a new generator set from Friday, January 5 to Monday, January 8 between the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
While we will take all measures to avoid any interruption to the community’s power supply, short power outages may occur during the testing of the new generator set.
QEC would like to thank the residents for their understanding.

Planned Power Outage in Arviat

The outage is required to preform upgrades to the power plant system.
